As more classic library subject encyclopedias and indexes go digital, it can be difficult for patrons to discover and locate these once powerful reference tools. One visual workplace solution is to place the needed information right at hand - in this case, on the shelf where the set once lived. In the example above, a vertical shelf-marker is substituted for the withdrawn print set. It reminds the patron of the existence of the resource, and gives direction to its new location on the library web site.
